We recommend waiting until your child is 14.5 years old to begin Driver Ed. Once they have turned 15, completed the Driver's Ed class, and passed the knowledge and skills test, they can obtain their permit. As soon as they have their permit, they can drive with their parents. Requirements to take a road test:
- 16 years of age
- Logged a minimum of 50 hours, 10 of which are night hours
- Completed all Driver's Ed training, including required behind-the-wheel lessons
- Have held their Temps for a minimum of 6 months and are violation-free

Behind-The-Wheel ONLY Basic 6/6 (Antigo)
For students who have already taken the 30-hour class at another school within the last 13 months. Certification of completion of classroom training is required before lessons may commence. This course meets the minimum requirements for an individual under the age of 18 in the state of Wisconsin.
